Coast Paradise Revealed
In late 2011 Danny was chosen to be included as a featured photographer in a book that is being published by Panograph Publishing, which is a company owned by the renowned Australian Landscape Photographer, Ken Duncan. The book is to be released in mid to late 2012 and is aimed at highlighting and bring attention to the Central Coast Region of NSW. It is a huge honour for Danny as there are also 5 other prominent landscape photographers from the area that will be also featured in the book. The book “Coastal Paradise Revealed ” will be available here on the website once it has been released.
Better Digital Camera
In mid 2011 Danny was asked to submit an image to “Better Digital Camera” to be included in an article about seascape photographers. Again Danny found himself in the media and was included with 5 other seascapers for the article. These photographers would be considered amongst some of Sydney’s finest. It was an honour and humbling all at the same to time to be included with such a group.
“With Dramatic sea cliffs right next to the city of Sydney it’s no great surprise that a group of keen photographers has made this environment their own. The Sydney Seascapers is a very loose group of like-minded and slightly mad photographers who specialise in shooting images of the Sydney coastline ( and parts further a field too), in particular the amazing rock pavements at the bottom of the biggest cliffs. This is the sort of activity that is not for the faint-hearted – in fact the expression ‘don’t try this at home’ springs to mind. Some of the locations theses guys shoot are at the bottom of ropes and ladders, but as you can see from this photo essay – the results can be quite spectacular. ~ Nick Rains, Editor of Better Digital Camera ~
Australian Geographic
As a result of winner a silver award in the Epson Pano Awards and placing in the 50 images from around the world, Danny won himself a spot in an online gallery on the Australian Geographic website. Just another small recognition of the wonderful work that Danny is producing.
