What Our Customers Are Saying

Don’t just take it from us, let our customers do the talking!

“Hi Danny, I just wanted to say a big thank you for the Photoshop Course. I was really impressed with the setup and thought the whole weekend was loads of fun. I learned heaps and it’s nice to understand Layers finally. Now I just need to find the patients to put it all into practice, as I have used Lightroom for so long, so the transition to PS will slow me down a lot. I know with practice though it will be worth it. ”

Sonia - Sydney

“Hey Danny, I'm just sending you a big thumbs up for your Landscape workshop. What a weekend. I was really happy with how the whole thing was put together. I learned so much and so good to  finally get my head around the whole exposure thing with f/stops and so on. All I have to do now is put it all into practice. I'm already looking forward to doing your next Photoshop Workshop".

Peter - Newcastle

“Thanks Danny for your awesome 2 day photoshop workshop, you are a great teacher, the content was excellent too and I’ve come away feeling confident about using Photoshop and can’t wait to put what you’ve taught me into practice. I absolutely loved spending time with someone that truly loves photography. Keep doing what you do, you’re a natural talent.”

Marg - Central Coast

Frequently Asked Questions

How many participants will be on the photo tour ?

On a full photo tour we will have 8 participants and 2 photographers. But if we only have 4-6 participants there will only be Danny running the photo tour.

What will the weather be like in October ?

We can expect the weather in New Zealand to be relatively mild in October although we could get a bit of a cold snap too. Temperatures generally hover around 15˚c – 20˚c in the daytime but can drop to 5˚c – 8˚c overnight. Snow is expected to fall between the months of June & November so it is always a possibility. So its best to have warm clothing made up of plenty of layers.

What happens if I need to cancel my booking ?

At the time of booking you will need to pay a 10% deposit to hold your place. If you have to cancel for any reason, you will forfeit your deposit. It is highly recommended that you take out travel insurance at the time of booking your place as this will normally cover you loss of deposit if you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.

How many pairs of hiking boots should I bring ?

We recommend 3 pairs of footwear. One pair of sturdy ankle high hiking boots, one pair of lighter hiking boots, its often nice to have a lighter shoot for the evenings but also a spare pair incase you main boots get wet. We also recommend a pair of gumboots for shooting around rivers and lakes. All pairs of boots need to be spotless clean when entering and leaving New Zealand. If you footwear is not completely free of debris, they may be confiscated but at the very least they will be taken away to be cleaned when you are trying to clear customs. This can hold up the group if this happens, so please be considerate and clean you footwear.
