Framing Options
It’s all about the frame
The most important thing about displaying a photograph is the presentation. And when we say presentation, we of course mean how it is to be framed. We have spent a lot of time selecting the different frame mouldings for Danny’s prints. We have found a selection of frames that work well with Danny’s work and they are also of a very high quality. You can order a print and organise your own framing or you can take advantage of our framing service. We have several options and we can have your framed print shipped Australia wide or anywhere across the globe.
How To Hang Your Print
Raw Timber/Contemporary White Framing
These timber frames are simplistic and elegant. They really do compliment Danny’s work while making the image the

When it comes to mounting the print to the backing board for our framed prints,
We have a small range of mat boards that we use. These have been chosen due to the fact that they are cotton rag and not paper. They have the highest colour permanence available and they will also resist against colour bleed and fading. We do not recommend coloured mats and we only use black or white in our production.
We have a wide and varied selection of frames to choose from. Our collection includes a selection of simple white and black frames. We also have a selection of timber veneered frames. These include some raw finishes and also some beautifully stained veneers. A portion of our frames are sourced from Italy and look truly amazing.
Your average framer only used framing glass in the production. We don’t use framing glass for several reasons. It has a colour cast, its heavy and doesn’t transport well. We use a high quality museum grade acrylic. This has no colour cast, its virtually unbreakable and it also blocks 98% of UV light. Depending on the product you order and the size of the print will determine the thickness of the acrylic used. For large frames we use 4.5mm and for some other options we use 2mm.
Danny’s open and limited edition prints can now be shipped anywhere in Australia and across the globe. You must take into consideration that large frames in particular will incur significant cost due to packaging and the use of speciality artwork couriers. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions relating to shipping and packaging.
Acrylic Face Mount
Acrylic Face Mount has been around for a while but has become wildly popular over the last few years. Essentially it is a frameless option and is very modern in its appearance. Again we use only the finest quality materials in the production of this product.

The process of Face Mounting is a highly skilled one. But next to having the skill is having the right materials. We used a 3mm high quality Museum Grade Acrylic. This has no colour cast, its virtually unbreakable and it also blocks 98% of UV light. A super thin layer of adhesive film is place between the Museum Grade Acrylic and the print. This is a hugely important step and you must use the right adhesive film to ensure the highest possible optical clarity.
The back of the Acrylic Face Mount is then covered with a product called ForeX and this seals in the print and gives us a substrate to place the hanging frame on. The hanging frame also gives support to the finished piece. All in all we end up with a product that will look amazing on your wall for a long long time.
Stretched Canvas
We also use only the finest materials when we produce our canvas prints. Due to the texture of the canvas you get a real painterly feel to the finished work. This is another great option for a frameless finish. Stretched Canvas prints are a more classic look compared to the Acrylic Face Mounted prints.

Our canvas are printed on the highest quality paper with pigment inks with the archival longevity of up to 110 years. They are then sprayed with a protective coating to safe guard your exposed print. The canvas is then stretch around a solid timber box frame. Our canvas prints are stretched as gallery stretch. This means that the image is wrapped right over the edge of the stretcher frame and it looks amazing.
